Based in Mumbai the commercial capital of India, Omaakar was formed in April 1999 and is the brain child of Geeta Curumsey (geetacurumsey@omaakar.com), a textile designer by qualification who then ventured into the business of handicrafts and handcrafted gift products.
Most of the embroidered handicraft products and handmade paper products are handcrafted by expert craftsmen in India and hence take time to prepare.
We also customize the products to the specification of clients and also take special orders to suit the client (For Exporters and Shopping chains/Shops as well as for special events such as weddings and festivals etc.) and supply Corporate gifts.
In a short span of time Omaakar has taken part in several successful trade exhibitions and supplied products to various exporters, corporates, shops and even for events such as weddings etc.
Omaakar's products are exported to countries such as USA, UK, UAE, France, Germany, Bahrain, Taiwan etc.
